Melanie
manages all internal and external communications for the UK College of
Health Sciences. Her responsibilities include website and social media
management, all printed publications, alumni communications, weekly
faculty/staff bulletins, displays in the Charles T. Wethington, Jr.
Building and media releases. Melanie also assists with Office of
Advancement events.
Melanie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the
University of Kentucky. She has more than 13 years of experience in
nonprofit and educational communications. She most
recently worked as Health Communications Coordinator for UK Health &
Wellness from October 2007 to June 2013. Melanie’s experience
includes her work with the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence, UK
College of Medicine Alumni and Development and UK Public Relations. She
enjoys reading and writing poetry and fiction in her spare time.
