Brooke H. Smith
Public Relations & Marketing Coordinator
College of Health Sciences
Brooke manages all internal and external communications of the
College of Health Sciences. Her responsibilities include website and
social media management, all printed publications, alumni communications, weekly faculty & staff bulletins, displays in the Charles T. Wethington,
Jr. Building and media releases. Brooke also assists in the coordination
of all events and activities coordinated by the Office of Advancement.
Brooke received her Bachelor of Arts in English from Transylvania University and her
Master's in Public Administration from Eastern Kentucky University. Before coming to the college,
Brooke worked as an integrated marketing communications professional in the
public and nonprofit sectors for six years.
Brooke is originally from Harlan County and has resided in Lexington for
the past ten years. Outside the office she and her husband, Kevin, enjoy spending
time outdoors and volunteering for nonprofit organizations.
