Randa Remer

Randa R. Remer, Ph.D., is a native of Lexington, Kentucky. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Centre College, her Master of Arts in Counseling and Counselor Education from Indiana University-Bloomington and her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Kentucky. In her role as Assistant Dean, Remer directs the admissions, registration and advising processes for the College of Health Sciences. Further, she is responsible for developing and implementing inter-professional and cultural competency programming. Remer is the chair of the Diversity Committee.
Remer was previously employed by the University of Kentucky's Gatton College of Business and Economics as the Leadership Director and directed the Scholars in Engineering and Management program.
Outside of the office Remer enjoys outdoor activities, especially hiking and playing soccer.
