Avery graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor's in Sports Management and a Master's in Sports Administration.
Avery is originally from Cedarville, Ohio. He serves as the Patient Relations Assistant to the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences. In his role, Avery is responsible for office duties pertaining to the Communication Disorders Clinics. He works with students, faculty, staff, vendors, the public, other programs, departments, and organizations. Avery assists the department clinical faculty, clinic coordinator, clinical supervisors, and graduate students. Some of his major responsibilities include greeting patients and families, taking accurate messages, scheduling and registering patients, preparing and maintaining patient files, type and send dictated reports. Avery also assists with clinic operations by monitoring physical facility, ordering materials, and monitoring equipment, as well as billing, collecting, recording, and submitting patient payments.
Avery is the son of Avery and Carrie O’Neal of Cedarville, Ohio.
