Education: Katie received her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from Marshall University in 2005 and 2007. In 2010, she entered the Rehabilitation Sciences Doctoral Program at the University of Kentucky. She is currently a full-time doctoral student and is completing a Clinical Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Kentucky.
Clinical Focus: Katie’s primary responsibility is direct patient care at the Albert B. Chandler Medical Center. She evaluates and provides treatment for speech, language and swallowing disorders in the adult and pediatric population. She has a particularly interest in stroke rehabilitation, including the evaluation and treatment of swallowing, speech, language and cognitive disorders.
Educational Focus: Katie provides clinical supervision for graduate students completing clinical rotations at the Albert B. Chandler Medical Center.
