The Applied Statistics
Lab (ASL) is now available to provide statistical support for CHS faculty

Pilot Funding Opportunities
- CHS Pilot Study Funding
- CHS faculty members may request funding towards projects or equipment with the highest likelihood of generating preliminary data to support extramural grant applications. Please submit a brief (1 page, bulleted) description of the project, including a budget, to the CHS Research Office by emailing Cynthia Byars at cynthia.byars@uky.edu. CCTS Pilot Funding – The Center for Clinical and
Translational Science supports highly innovative, early
stage and collaborative research studies in clinical &
translational science & promotes the development or
application of new methodologies and tools relevant to the
health challenges and disparities faced by citizens of KY,
Appalachia, and other rural populations.

VPR: Service Center Pilot Grants -
These awards, offered by the Office of the Vice President
for Research, are for collection of pilot data from UK core
facilities to be used in externally funded research
applications.

VPR: Internal Grant Program - The program will support
pilot studies needed to develop preliminary data to enhance
the competitiveness of extramural research grant
applications. These grants may also be used for minor
equipment and travel associated with development of a
research project or scholarly activity.
