Hazard Alumni & Preceptor Reception

The Hazard alumni and preceptor reception is Sept. 10 at the Hazard Community and Technical College's First Federal Building. The reception is being co-hosted by Southern Kentucky AHEC and begins at 6 p.m.

Scholarship Forms for 2009 Hall of Fame Induction & Scholarship Dinner

The 2009 Hall of Fame Induction & Scholarship Dinner is coming up on October 8. All CHS students who receive a scholarship for the current academic year will be honored at this event – but while we track scholarships from within the college, there is no way for us to know who received a scholarship from outside UK. To get an accurate count of students, we need them to fill out some information.

Student Raffle for Golf Scramble Foursome

Dr. Karen Skaff has generously donated a foursome for the upcoming CHS Scholarship Golf Scramble for students. All four spots will be raffled off on September 18th. Students can enter to win by filling out a registration card and dropping it in the box in the student lounge. Registration cards are available in the Dean's Office, Student Affairs and were e-mailed to all students.

Note: Students were notified that they must clear their schedule with faculty if it interferes with class – it is completely up to faculty as to whether or not they will be excused.

2nd Annual Blood Battle: Registration

Sept. 15, 2009, 8 a.m.–1 p.m.

Click here to schedule your donation appointment on-line. Please fill out the required donor form as requested. You will be prompted to enter a sponsor code in order to view our upcoming blood drives. The sponsor code for this organization is 034-A10. Select the blood drive date desired and choose from available appointment times.

Please let students know that if they are not feeling well, that they can call our phone triage nurse at 323-INFO and she can assist them as well. Faculty and staff should contact their primary care physician.
