McKeon featured in NATA newsletterThe work of Dr. Pat McKeon (Athletic Training) was recently featured in the National Athletic Trainers' Association e-newsletter. Butterfield publishedDr. Tim Butterfield (Athletic Training) was recently published in the Journal of the American College of Sports Medicine. Dr. Butterfield's work is entitled "Stretch-Activated Ion Channel Blockade Attenuates Adaptions to Eccentric Exercise." The article was co-written by Dr. Thomas M. Best (OSU) and can be accessed here.

Parking Permit RenewalParking and Transportation is encouraging employees to apply for their renewal permit using the parking Web site at www.uky.edu/Parking. Parking application cards will not be sent; however, if you need an actual card, please contact Allison Horseman at ext. 80563. Permits must be renewed no later than March 2, 2009. UK HealthCare is planning a giant group picture at 3 p.m. this afternoon on the Rose Street side of the KY Clinic near the Wildcat Deli. The Chief Photographer from the Herald Leader is planning to be here to take a picture for the newspaper and public relations has invited several of the news stations as well.
