Save the Date: 5th International Ankle Symposium
The CHS 4th Annual Scholarship Scramble will take place on Friday, September 14. All faculty and staff are invited to volunteer for this special event. It will take place at the University Club of Kentucky beginning with lunch at noon provided by Cosi. Lunch will be provided to all volunteers as well as a golf umbrella. Volunteers will assist with registration, silent auction, driving golf carts and more. If you are interested in enjoying a day in the sun for a great cause please consult with your supervisor and contact Keturah Taylor by September 7th. It's also not too late to register for a team! Brian Noehren and his collaborators received a three-year NSF grant along
with computer and exercise science. The grant provides $300,000 in direct
funding and $300,000 in in-directs. Brian is co-PI on the grant. It will provide
funding for a post doc as well subject payment and development costs. The team
will develop and apply a single camera system to record 3D motion that will be
used in clinical populations studied in the lab. This could have a
transformative effect on our ability to quantify movement impairments in the
clinic. In addition it would open up the availability of technology that has
previously only been available at large institutions like UK to rural hospitals

health credit toward the cost of retirement health benefits if they meet
eligibility criteria. Understanding the criteria for UK retirement eligibility
and what benefits you may have can allow for more informed decisions down the
road. Each presentation will cover how to determine retirement eligibility, how
to calculate retirement health benefit premiums, what steps are involved to
retire, how health benefits work in retirement and other information related to
