Back to Top MLS Undergraduate Accepted into Summer Employment Research Program

Congratulations to Josh James who was accepted into the full-time Summer Employment Research Apprentice Program through the UK Outreach Center for Science and Health Career Opportunities.  He will work under the mentorship of Drs. Stemple and Dietrich, as well as, Colleen McMullen (Physiology).  This program provides a paid, full-time summer job for students who express a strong desire to pursue research as a career.  Mentors must also qualify by being able to provide a rich experience for selected undergraduates, allowing them to become actively involved in the lab and hopefully creating an interest in furthering their careers in medical research.
