summer & fall. We’ve been on a roll with providing opportunities for these
students; let’s keep up the momentum! If you have an opportunity or
potential opportunity for summer or fall, please email
Cynthia.byars@uky.edu with the
information to be posted on the
UGR Current Opportunities webpage. Thank you for supporting the Office
of Undergraduate Research!
Congratulations to Josh James who was accepted into the full-time Summer
Employment Research Apprentice Program through the UK Outreach Center for
Science and Health Career Opportunities. He will work under the mentorship
of Drs. Stemple and Dietrich, as well as, Colleen McMullen (Physiology).
This program provides a paid, full-time summer job for students who express a
strong desire to pursue research as a career. Mentors must also qualify by
being able to provide a rich experience for selected undergraduates, allowing
them to become actively involved in the lab and hopefully creating an interest
in furthering their careers in medical research. Rockcastle Regional Hospital will host its annual golf scramble on June 27 at Cedar Rapids Golf Course in Mount Vernon, KY. Please click here for more information. Back to TopPurchasing Year-End DeadlinesPlease click here
