Don't Miss the 2009 Presidential Inauguration

Watch the inauguration of President-Elect Barak Obama with the College of Health Sciences on Tuesday, January 20, in CTW 127 (The Commons). Coverage begins at 10 a.m.

Kevin Dean Called to Duty

Kevin Dean, Research Administrator, will be leaving CHS to serve a year at Camp Lejune, N.C. Today is his last day.

Kevin is in the U.S. Marine Reserves, where he serves as a chaplain. CHS wishes him strength and safe travels.

 

National Wear Red Day is Feb. 6

CHS is inviting all employees to "Go Red" on February 6, 2009. This event is to raise awareness of the impact of heart disease on women, which remains their number one cause of death.

Each person that wears red is asked to donate just $5 to the American Heart Association. The money raised will go toward research and education.
