Meg Shake, M.S., CCC-SLPSpeech-Language PathologistEducationMeg received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wake Forest University in 1989 and a Masters of Science degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Kentucky in 1995. Educational FocusMeg has served as a Clinical Instructor for first year graduate students, teaching and supervising the planning and implementation of treatment of clients with a wide range of disorders. She supervises second year graduate students during clinical rotations on site. She has guest lectured two semesters of CD 481 and the fluency module of CD 483. She is scheduled to guest teach CD 410 in Spring, 2011. Scholarly InterestPediatric articulation and phonological disorders, language disorders and autism spectrum disorders Clinical FocusThe evaluation and treatment of speech and language disorders in the pediatric population and supervision of graduate students in the outpatient clinical setting. Meg also serves on a multidisciplinary clinic team which serves children with a history of prematurity or complications at birth. |
