Janice Kuperstein, PT, PhD, MSEdAssociate Professor, Physical TherapyProfessor Kuperstein joined the faculty in the summer of 1996. She received her B.S. in P.T. from the State University of New York - Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, and did graduate work in Human Genetics at the Medical College of Virginia. She received her M.S.Ed. in Clinical and College Teaching with an emphasis in Health Care Administration and her Ph.D. in Gerontology from the University of Kentucky. She also serves as the Administrative Liaison to the Center for Rural Health Academic Program. Research / Scholarship

Clinical WorkProfessor Kuperstein has experience as a PT in a variety of clinical environments including pediatrics, hospice, and acute care. She also served in several health care administrative positions, including two years as Chief Operating Officer of an acute care hospital. Personal She is active in the community, serving as a volunteer and Board member for several agencies, and in the profession as Chair of the Ethics Committee for the Kentucky Physical Therapy Association and a member of the Publications Committee for the APTA Section on Health Policy and Administration. |
