Health Sciences Dean Search
The University of Kentucky invites
nominations and applications for the position of Dean of the College
of Health Sciences. The candidate should have the ability
and vision to lead an interprofessional health care college within
an institution that aspires to become one of the nation’s
premier public research
universities. The Dean is
responsible for the overall supervision and direction of the college
that includes programs in athletic training, medical laboratory
science, clinical leadership and management, clinical nutrition,
communication sciences and disorders, physical therapy, physician
assistant studies, human health sciences, and rehabilitation
sciences, with baccalaureate, masters, professional doctorate, and
PhD level programs

Our newest baccalaureate degree program, Human Health
Sciences (HHS), is now entering its second year. HHS serves as a
pre-professional undergraduate degree for students who aspire to
careers in health care, such as dentistry, pharmacy, physician
assistant studies and physical therapy. The program offers an interprofessional education with broad exposure to health care
practices, policies and management.
