The Annual Orofacial Pain Alumni Day
In 1987 the faculty of the Orofacial Pain Center felt it would be important to provided continuing education not only to our former orofacial pain alumni but to all interested practitioners. This alumni day has been an annual tradition since that time. This one day continuing education program is presented each year in the spring. The topics change each year. The formate is to invite a known outside speaker to present a topic of his or her expertise and during the afternoon session the faculty and resident provide an update on the clinical and research activities of the Center.
This year the meeting is scheduled for April 23, 2010. David A. Sirois, D.M.D., Ph.D. Associate Dean for Graduate Program, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, Radiology and Medicine at New York University College of Dentistry will be presenting information regarding neuropathic pain disorders. The Orofacial Pain Faculty and Residents will provide update information during the afternoon session.
