College Announces New Director of Development
Linda Epling has been named director of development for the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. She has over twenty years of experience in the fields of development and communication.
Before coming to UKCD, she was the chief development officer for Bluegrass Community and Technical College. While at BCTC, she led the consolidation of the two resource development programs from Lexington Community College and Central Kentucky Technical College into a unified, comprehensive program, which included annual giving, special events, and capital and major gifts. Linda was instrumental in completing the capital campaign for a new BCTC campus and established the BCTC Foundation, the fundraising arm for the community college, with its own board, policies, procedures and fundraising activities.
Prior to BCTC, Linda worked for Community Action Council for Lexington-Fayette, Bourbon, Harrison and Nicholasville, where she managed the external communication and annual fund activities for programs such as Head Start, energy assistance, and other programs designed to move people out of poverty.
Linda lives on a farm in Lincoln County with her husband and two teenage sons.
