Kentucky Oral Health Speakers Bureau

Welcome to the Kentucky Oral Health Speakers Bureau web site. The Speakers Bureau is a joint effort of the Kentucky Department for Public Health, Oral Health Program Office on Oral Health, the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and the Kentucky Dental Health Coalition.

Our Goal

The Speakers Bureau was developed due to a need for oral health education. Oral disease is one of the most common chronic health problems in Kentucky. Preventive measures such as water fluoridation, sealants and regular dental care have helped reduce oral disease; however many Kentuckians remain at risk. Quite often the risk is due to a lack of knowledge.

JOIN THE SPEAKERS BUREAU

We're always on the lookout for new speakers. Our members come from a variety of backgrounds including dentists, hygienists and health educators. Bureau membership is open to anyone with a desire to present oral health information. It doesn't matter whether or not you're an experienced speaker or have a lot of knowledge about oral health. The Speakers Bureau will provide you with resources that will enable you to prepare a quality presentation.
