The University of Kentucky College of Dentistry exists to gain the benefits of oral health for the people of Kentucky. Located in the Dental Sciences Building, a six-story wing of the UK Chandler Medical Center, the College is concerned about oral health problems in Kentucky. Solutions to these problems are actively pursued through education, research and service at the UK College of Dentistry. The College cooperates with other units in the Medical Center and the University, as well as with local and state government and private agencies, in solving oral health problems. As stated in our booklet, Behavioral Standards in Patient Care, available upon request, you will be treated as a "whole, irreplaceable, unique, and worthy person" in a courteous manner, and with consideration for your individual needs.

We will provide you with an estimate of the cost of care at the time of your pre-admission examination. After a thorough diagnosis and treatment plan have been developed, an appointment will be scheduled to discuss this plan with you and obtain your advice and consent. The fee for your treatment will also be discussed with you during this appointment. Our fees are moderate and payment schedules may be arranged. We welcome Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Our goal is to provide you with comprehensive oral health care. We have the capacity to provide a broad spectrum of services within the College and will make referrals to our colleagues when they are in your best interest.
