Becoming a UK Oral Health Patient
Expert care for your general and specialized dentistry needs
UK Oral Health pledges to provide the highest quality care in a timely and safe environment. Our clinics are a major component of UK HealthCare -- the hospitals, clinics, outreach locations, and patient care services and activities of the university’s six health profession colleges.
Our patients are provided treatment through three different types of clinical settings:
- Dental Student Clinics - Patients are treated by student dentists, while supervised by faculty members. Many patients appreciate this lower cost option for their oral health needs.
- Graduate Residency Clinics - Patients are treated by dentists completing advanced education in general practice or dental specialties, such as orthodontics, periodontology, pediatrics, orofacial pain, and oral surgery. These clinics provide quality care with lower costs than a private practice office.
- Dental Faculty Practice Clinics - Patients are treated by faculty members in general dentistry and specialty clinics. Our faculty are experts in their fields, with experience treating the most basic to the most complicated cases. Charges in our faculty practice clinics are comparable to those of private practice offices.
