Accreditation

All programs hold current and full accreditation by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).

Six of the seven programs are on a seven-year accreditation cycle, with the most recent visit being completed in 2011.  The next accreditation cycle will occur in 2018.  These six programs are:

• Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD)

• General Practice Dentistry (Specialty Certification)

• Pediatric Dentistry (Specialty Certification)

• Orofacial Pain (Specialty Certification, MS)

• Orthodontics (Specialty Certification, MS)

• Periodontics (Specialty Certification, MS)

The seventh program, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (Specialty Certification), is on a five-year accreditation cycle, with the most recent visit being completed in 2009.  The next accreditation cycle will occur in 2014.
