Admissions and Advising

Undergraduate Program

Admission Criteria and Competitiveness

Admission is based on cumulative university grade-point average (GPA), ACT or SAT score, letters of recommendation, and the student's letter of application. The Division of Communication Disorders typically accepts approximately 40 junior level students per year. It is estimated that students will need to have at least 3.0 overall GPA to be considered for admission.

Advising Information

Advising for lower division and transfer students not yet admitted to the program is conducted by the Office of Student Affairs. Students with questions regarding transferring, University Studies Requirements, and the application process may come in to the Office of Student Affairs and talk with the advisor.

Advising for students admitted to the Communication Disorders Program is conducted by CD Faculty Members at 900 South Limestone Street. Please phone for an appointment at (859) 323-1100, ext. 80493.

Financial support is limited and may occasionally be available to highly qualified applicants.
