- Senior scientist/surgeon position funded by NIH and supported by institutional resources at the University of Kentucky. The investigator would work in a highly interactive team with projects focused on cardiac hypertrophy, repair, dysynchrony, and vascular injury responses, using advanced imaging technologies (cardiac MRI, ultrasound, and CT).
Requirements: Applicants must hold MD, DVM, PhD or equivalent degree with surgical experience in small animal models of cardiovascular disease. Qualified candidates will be highly motivated with the ability to work independently and must have very good analytical, oral and written communication skills. The right candidate will have opportunities for career advancement to faculty level positions.
