AHA's Heart Walk - April 19, 2008

UK GHI Team Goal is $100,000!

This year we have again set an important team goal of $100,000.  Many of you have heard that the University of Kentucky is now a Top 20 institute with the AHA, currently receiving over $5.4 million.  We hope to count on you as a part of the team raising contributions in the name of the Gill Heart Institute for the American Heart Association.

General Information

• Online registration for the Gill Heart Institute Teams - This year the GHI team structure will be comprised of groups/teams throughout the University of Kentucky, from the medical center to campus, involving students, staff and faculty.
• Gill Heart Institute will provide t-shirts to ALL UK walkers raising at least $50 in contributions.

• January 29, 2008 - Kick-Off Lunch
  at Fifth Third Bank (2197 Nicholasville Rd) 12 noon-6 pm 
  

• April 16th - Wednesday:  HW Bank Night
  at Fifth Third Bank (2197 Nicholasville Rd) 12 noon-6 pm 

April 19th - Saturday: HEART WALK!

• 8:00 am Registration/Heart Walk Activities begin.
• 9:00 am Walk begins.
