Volunteers Needed for
Gum Disease Treatment Research Study
The Faculty and Staff of the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry
Center for Oral Health Research are conducting a clinical
research study on the treatment of gum disease.
You may be able to participate if you:
are
between the ages of 18 and 75;
have,
or suspect that you have, gum disease; and
have
deep gum pockets associated with your gum disease.
This study will
evaluate the effects of treating gum disease by combining
a deep cleaning of gums and teeth with a new formulation
of the FDA-approved drug Periostat®.
Qualified participants
will receive compensation for completing the study, and
all study treatments will be provided at no cost.
