Delta Dental of Kentucky Clinical Research Center (DDKCRC) provides a state of the art facility to support planning, execution and completion of clinical research studies. Our close proximity and collaborations with UK's federally funded General Clinical Research Center and Clinical Research Organization provides a unique opportunity for carrying out clinical research involving multi-disciplinary teams of dentists, physicians, and healthcare ancillaries. DDKCRC has a team of clinical research coordinators experienced in NIH-funded, multidisciplinary, multi-center, clinical trials and industry sponsored FDA phase II-IV clinical studies. It is supported by a team of basic scientists in a fully equipped core that provides opportunities for translational research studies, FDA phase I studies, and lab support of clinical trials.  The commitment and support of Delta Dental of Kentucky and UK has provided previously unavailable opportunities for the citizens of Kentucky to participate in outstanding clinical research trials in oral healthcare.
