Dr. Ferretti serves as Project Director with overall responsibility for the completion of the POHEK (Physicians Oral Health Education in Kentucky) Grant. He is a Board Certified, Pediatric Dentist who has been involved in the graduate program in pediatric dentistry for more than 20 years at the University of Kentucky. He lectures to 3rd year medical students during their pediatrics rotation and to pediatric residents; has chaired the committee that developed the recently adopted and implemented Education Standards for Advanced Education Training Programs in Pediatric Dentistry; is currently Chair of the Dental Technical Advisory Committee to Medicaid; past member of the Kentucky Medicaid Council; and is jointly appointed as Professor of Pediatrics.
