The Medical Library is operated by the Southeast Kentucky Area Health Education Center for the use of practicing health professionals, healthcare students in training, and the general public in the AHEC's sixteen county region.  The Library is located on the first floor of the ARH Regional Medical Center in Hazard, Kentucky. 

Borrowing privileges are extended to ARH employees, UK Community Based Faculty, UK Center for Excellence in Rural Health students, and any student on AHEC-approved rotations.  Other students and community patrons are welcome to use library materials in the library or to make photocopies.

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.  The Library is closed on weekends and holidays.  Hours may vary between semesters or for special events.  Please call ahead if unsure.
